NNOOMICLONE

HOW TO PLAY NOOMICLONE

NoomiClone is a physics-based gymnastics game. You control the character’s body position and the moment they let go of a bar. Instead of choosing a pre-made trick, experiment with inputs and watch how each attempt changes.

This guide covers the classic browser version on this site. The mobile app is a separate, newer experience with additional features.

1. Start with the four controls

Open NoomiClone online, click Play, wait for the game to load, and click inside the player. Use Left Arrow to arch, Space to tuck, Up Arrow to let go, and R to reset. Keep the keyboard control guide nearby for your first few attempts.

2. Watch your swing before releasing

Spend an attempt looking at how the character moves around the bar. Try the arch input and observe the change in posture. For practice, keep your input pattern simple enough to repeat. Changing several inputs at once makes it harder to tell what helped.

3. Experiment with the release

Up Arrow releases the bar. Try letting go at different points in the swing and compare the resulting path. There is no single release moment that works for every attempt: the character’s movement before release matters too.

4. Add the tuck

Space changes the character into a tuck. After a few release-only attempts, add a short tuck and compare it with holding the key. Learn the difference through repeatable attempts before trying a complicated sequence.

5. Reset and change one thing

Press R when you want to start again. Our suggested practice routine is to keep the same setup and change only the release timing, then only the tuck duration. This is an editorial practice method, not a hidden scoring system or a guaranteed trick recipe.

A simple practice session

  1. Make a few attempts using arch and reset to learn the swing.
  2. Add release, changing when you press Up Arrow.
  3. Add tuck and compare short holds with longer holds.
  4. Repeat a result you like before changing your setup again.

If something goes wrong

If the keys do nothing, click inside the game. If a run goes badly, use R. Reload is for a frozen player or loading problem; it reloads the whole game. See the loading and keyboard troubleshooting guide for more help.
